She's just wrapped up filming her latest movie "Black Nativity"

in chilly New York City. So Mary J. Blige welcomed the sunshine as she stepped out on the sand in Puerto Rico on Sunday in a figure-flattering Melissa Odabash bikini that hugged her famous curves.

The movie is a re-telling of the Bible's nativity story and co-stars Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker.

Blige, who has won nine Grammy awards over the years, lends both her vocal and acting talents to the upcoming musical.

The No More Drama singer put her well-toned physique to work as she ran toward the shore, leaving her friends in the dust.

The 42-year-old proudly flaunted her body ink, showing off a floral tattoo on her upper right thigh as well as another on her left shoulder.

But her excitement for a quick dip was short lived, as she looked taken aback by the chilly water.
